  • 1966 - dominated DC's music scene
  • 1968 - formed record label and released #1 hit single, "Jungle" DC's premiere Go-Go record 
  • 1969 - dubbed "The Emperors of Go-Go"
  • 1972 - recruited by Motown to record and tour with the late Eddie Kendricks. 
  • June 11, 1996 was Proclaimed "The Young Senators Day" by Washington, DC Mayor Marion Barry. 
  • 1973 - recorded #1 hit  "Keep On Truckin"
  • 1974 - ushered in the disco era w/ the #1 hit single, "Girl, You Need a Change of Mind" w/ Eddie Kendricks
  • 1975 - released top charting single "Boogie Down"
  • 1980's & 90's -  Jimi Dougans took over as lead singer after Eddie Kendricks retired.
  • 2017 - DC Mayor Muriel Bowser presented The Young Senators Reloaded with a proclamation for their history of entertainment and positive contributions throughout Washington, DC.
